A donation from Woodbridge Horse Society and proceeds from the Bredfield Pig Race have enabled Woodbridge Lions Club to hand over 80 bags of Christmas goodies for distribution by the Salvation Army through their local food bank. For many years Woodbridge Lions have helped those in need locally by providing a few extras at Christmas.
The Bredfield Pig race proved to be a great success with over 100 racegoers enjoying 8 races at Bredfield Village Hall. The fun evening raised nearly £2600 of which half was donated to Macmillan Cancer Care. The presentation to Anne Henderson was made by Lion President Keith Palmer at the Bredfield Village Fayre in December.
Tickets are selling fast for what promises to be a fun evening of racing.
